Photo Booth Props?
You are going to have a party, whether it is a birthday bash, high school reunion, wedding reception, corporate bash or holiday party and you also have decided to rent a photo booth. Good for you! Your party goers will most likely thank you for hosting your fine party and providing such wonderful party favor – a real working photo booth.
How to spice up the photo booth action? Some folks will say photo booth props and some will say “no thanks” to photo booth props? So do you offer props to your guests?
The short quick answer is “It depends”
Here at Red Eye Photo Booths we do not offer photo booth props for a few reasons. First, props have about a one event life cycle. Why? Your guests no matter how well-mannered after a few drinks will take them on the dance floor, drop them in puddles of ale, walk out the door with them and deposit sweat and make-up all over them. These are the primary reasons after a few years of offering expensive props we discontinued the rental of props.
Also, some people want to see their guests as they are and not dressed up in a carnival hat, mustache and clown sun glasses. But other people want to add to the party fun and offer their guests props. There are all sorts of photo booth props available these days from Mardi Gras online stores, to classic “stick props”. Our advice after being in the prop business for some time is to first decide if you want props and if you want your lasting memory of Aunt Louise in a mustache or a mullet.
Next, if you decide you really want props is to go online and decide whether you want silly wigs, big glasses, messy boas, or classic stick props.

Whatever you decide props can be fun. Just make sure you purchase the right props for your event and within your budget and expect them to be destroyed by the end of the night, and make sure you take a lot of pictures!
